HOW WE GOT HERE
My first AI app was in 2009...
When I worked and led digital teams at large ad agencies, we always were adding AI and automation into our campaigns.

One campaign for Coca-Cola, used AI image recognition and machine learning to find other people that looked like you on Facebook. That tool generated over 280k unique users organically in the first few weeks. 

That was in 2009, just a bit ahead of our time back then.

I built major campaigns for Fortune 100 brands like Audi and VitaminWater, our work was featured in the New York Times 7 times for 7 different companies, along with The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Forbes, Fast Company, The Washington Post and hundreds of other publications.

We also won every major creative award including Campaign of the Year from AdAge / Creativity and multiple Cannes Lions from the Cannes International Advertising Festival. 

My last stop was VP of Digital for the Walmart account managing a team of 30 and tens of millions of dollars in digital ad campaigns. 
As you probably know, working at large companies has its good side and downside and eventually I set out on my own. 

When we started our own agency, we set out to buck the big brands and corporate lack of speed, and only work with startups and founders. 

Over just a few years, we spent over $10 Million in Facebook and Instagram ads, profitably using algorithm-first targeting and AI generated content. Our clients ranged from Softbank backed startups to Beyonce & Jay-Z’s nutrition brand to B2B services.

One day while traveling in the Banff area of western Canada, we had the same realization that many coaches get once they reach a certain expertise of their craft: “We have a system. And we can bottle it.” 

So, we worked on creating programs that could scale to hundreds of clients, not just a few. Systems that were so repeatable, anyone could plug them in and they would work. 

That’s when all the pieces came together, AI, APIs, Automations, Ads, Customer Acquisition funnels and creativity.
Our programs have helped 500+ clients improve profitability, scale using organic and paid ads, and turn content in clients.  

We’ve helped clients scale from $10k/mo to $300k/mo, helped clients scale from $200k to $1M/mo with 10x marketing ROI and everything in between – all without growing their internal team or increasing overhead.

Which brings us to today. 

Like most things that hit an inflection point, AI is not new. In fact, I’ve been helping clients use AI APIs since 2009. And we’ve had AI copywriting in our agency and training programs since 2017.

But what is new is the ability to customize, train and scale the new AI models. Never before has the ability to truly “clone” yourself been a realistic possibility. When we started testing the idea of cloning yourself for AI output in late 2022, we were blown away. 

My greatest joy is watching other founders have that first magic moment where they see their own AI generate something that they would love to have come up with, is perfect for their personal brand and business, and yet they didn’t have to do a single thing to get it.
